Casa Brera is a design hotel in the Brera district occupying a converted 1930s building, opened in 2022 with interiors by Paola Navone. The design language is characteristically Milanese in its confidence: green marble bar counter, velvet and leather seating in considered warm tones, an industrial ceiling structure embraced rather than concealed. The hotel's position in Brera — the gallery district and the neighbourhood with the highest concentration of independent fashion and design studios — is the correct context for an operation that takes its own design seriously. The bar functions as a neighbourhood resource for the surrounding streets in a way that only the better Milan hotel bars manage.
